Camera Problems
I recently dropped my camera. I can turn it on & the imager(?) comes out, vibrates, it beeps. Canon name comes on the screen, blacks out & I get a # E18. The Imager(?) won't go back in unless forced. Which I rather not do. I can see the photos I have taken on the screen. That's it.

lens locking on eas 50D cannon camera
My lens has locked itself into closed position. Can somebody please let me know what I hae to do to unlock it.
I am presuming that it has a locking device so that when you carry it the lens doesn't keep sliding down.

Problem with Canon 640 PowerShot
When using flash in auto mode, pictures are dark or completely black. Pictures are fine when flash is off and enough light is available.

My Canon A640 has started taking one very brief flash and not capturing what I'm takeing a picture of. For example I can be in a darkish room have the camera set to indoor have the flash on auto and I get a quick flash and a dark picture. Any ideas?

I can see that there is a port for a timer remote control in the camera however I need to trigger the camera with a digital delay using a coax cable or coax connection of some kind. Or anything I suppose. Is this camera capable of doing that and what cable would I need.

Which battery is used with the Canon Canodate E camera? The battery compartment says (2) 1.4v but apparently I need the imprint # on the battery as well to buy the correct one.. that's what I was told at the store.

Dropped camera in liquid detergent!
dropped my camera into a tub of liquid laundry detergent, submerging completely, a couple days ago. I wiped it off w/ damp cloth. Should I also rinse it in water? Looks like some detergent got in around the telescoping lens housing.
Any hope for it surviving?
