Message-LENS CAP
When I turn on my camera (and the lens cap is OFF), I still get the message that it is still on. So my camera is not working past that. I can't do anything.

downloading from camera to computer
I am having difficulty downloading moving pictures from my video camera to the laptop. I am using a 4 pin fire wire cable . the manual says that all I need to do is plug it in and start the camera but nothing is happening. The computer is not seeing the camera.

no display picture
When turning on the camera we can not see a picture. The screen will be blue but then goes a grey/black color. The screen says lens cap, but the lens cap is off. However we can view what was previously recorded. Just nothing new.

I have recently bought a new lap top, which has Vista installed. I can't seem to be able to get it to read my camcorder. I've used both the USB cable and a fire wire cable. But the computer wont recognise it.

Demo Mode submenu item missing
I can't get the demo mode to stop running. The instructions on pg.29-32 shows a FUNCTION submenu that includes DEMO MODE (ON/OFF). My camera does not show the DEMO MODE selection in the submenu. Only MELODY, PRIORITY, and CAM RESET are available.
