    Setting the Date and Time
TO SET THE DATE & TIME ON YOUR DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME

    1. Using the Digital Photo Frame's remote control makes setting the date & time easier. NAVIGATION buttons on the remote are the "UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT" buttons.

    2. Start by pressing the "Menu" button on the remote control. The "Main Menu" will appear on the screen. This Main Menu will have ten icons ( Photo, Music, Photo & Music, Movie, Setup, Calender, Clock, Alarm, Copy/Delete and Favorate ) located in a circle on the screen.

    3. Use the NAVIGATION "LEFT" or "RIGHT" buttons to rotate the icons to "Setup". Press the "Enter" button. The "Setup Menu" will appear on the screen, having five subject boxes ( Photo Setting, Auto-play, Display Setup, Custom Setup and Exit ) in a column on the left side of the screen. The title of the highlighted box in yellow will appear at the top right side of the screen.

    4. Use the NAVIGATION "DOWN" button to highlight the "Custom Setup" box [should be the forth box down the column]. Press the NAVIGATION "RIGHT" button to open a secondary menu box to the right. This secondary menu has six subjects (five you can see and one concealed). These six subjects are : OSD (on screen display) Language, Encoding, Repeat Mode, Media, Default and concealed below Default, Set Time.

    5. Use the NAVIGATION "DOWN" button to highlight "Set Time". Press the "Enter" button. A third menu box will appear.

    6. Use the NAVIGATION "UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT" buttons to set the correct time. When you have finished setting the time, press "Enter" to start the clock running.

    7. Use the NAVIGATION "LEFT" button to go back to the "Custom Setup" box. Use the NAVIGATION "DOWN" button to highlight the "Exit" box. Press the "Enter" button. The "Main Menu" will appear on the screen.

    8. You must now set the date. Using the NAVIGATION "LEFT" button, rotate to "Calender" and press the "Enter" button. A calender will appear on the screen. The double arrows located at the top left or right corner of the screen are for YEARS (forward or backwards according to the direction of arrows) and the single arrows are for MONTHS (forward or backwards according to the direction of arrows). In the top center of the screen is the date you are adjusting.

    9. The NAVIGATION buttons will move the red frame to the desired location (Years or Months). Once you have red framed the double arrows (Years), press "Enter" until you have the desired year. Do the same for months. You must now red frame the correct day using the NAVIGATION buttons and press "Enter" button to lock it in.

    10. Once you have the correct time and date entered, press "Mode" button on the remote control and the screen will display the time and date. This display will remain on the screen until you press "Mode" button again. The calender will be displayed next. Within ten seconds the calender will automatically disappear and your photos will start to display across the screen if you have entered them previously.

    11. If you wish to see the calender again, press the "OSD" button. If you wish to see the time again, press "Mode" button.

    12. If you wish to see a month or year, ahead or back, press the "OSD" button. The calender will appear on the screen. Using the NAVIGATION buttons will move the red frame to the desired location (Years or Months). Once you have red framed the double arrows (Years) or single arrows (Months), press "Enter" until you have the desired year or month. These changes are for viewing only, they are not permenant.

If you wish to know how to enter your photo, see other comments that I have posted.

Copy photos from your camera's memory card
TO COPY PHOTOS FROM YOUR CAMERA’S MEMORY CARD TO THE DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME.

    1. Insert your camera’s SD / MMC / XD / MS memory card into the card slot located on the left side of the Digital Photo Frame.

    2. Using the Digital Photo Frame's remote control makes entering your photos much easier. NAVIGATION buttons on the remote are the “UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT “ buttons.

    3. If you wish, you can review all of the photo's on your camera's memory card at this time. To do so, press the “Menu” button on the remote control. The “Main Menu” will appear on the screen. This Main Menu will have ten icons ( photo, music, photo & music, movie, setup, calender, clock, alarm, copy/delete and favorite ) located in a circle on the screen.

    4. Use the NAVIGATION "LEFT or RIGHT" buttons to rotate the icons to "photo". Press the "Enter" button. The pictures on your camera's memory card will start to scan across the screen. Press the "OSD" ( On Screen Display ) button on the remote control at this time so that you can see the picture's file number / the total number of photo's on the camera's card. Once you have reviewed and wrote down the file number of the photo's that you want to copy to the internal card of the Digital Photo Frame, press the "Menu" button on the remote control. The "Main Menu" will appear on the screen.

    5. Use the NAVIGATION "LEFT or RIGHT" buttons to rotate the icons to “copy/delete”. Press the “Enter” button. A new menu will appear , having five subjects ( photo, music, photo & music, movie and all ).

    7. On the left side of the split screen are shown two storage cards. The top card is the internal card of the Digital Photo Frame. The second (lower) card is the memory card of your camera, which you inserted into the side of the Digital Photo Frame. When you first enter this screen, the top card on the left side is “highlighted”. The right side of the split screen shows the files or folders stored in the left side card that is “highlighted” in yellow.

    8. Use the NAVIGATION “DOWN” button to highlight the second card (camera card). Once you have highlighted the camera card, a folder called “DCIM” ( Digital Card's Internal Memory ) will appear on the right side of the split screen. Press the NAVIGATION “RIGHT” button to highlight this folder “DCIM”. When the folder “DCIM” is highlighted, press the “Enter” button. The “DCIM” folder will move to the left side of the screen and open. A new named folder will appear on the right side of the screen and will be highlighted. Press “Enter” again. This folder will move to the left side of the screen and open. All of the stored picture “files” on your camera card will appear on the right side with each having a file number assigned to it. 9. Use the NAVIGATION “UP or DOWN” buttons to highlight (select) the picture or pictures you wish to copy to the Digital Photo Frame. You can copy only 20 files (pictures) in each folder that you have created. After choosing a file number (picture), press the “Enter” button and the selected file will display a yellow frame around it which indicates that it has been selected. If you wish to cancel a selection, you can accomplish this by moving to the yellow framed file and press the “Enter” button again. The yellow frame will disappear and that file will not be copied.

    10. After you have selected a file or files to be copied, press the NAVIGATION “RIGHT” button to go to the [Edit] option located on the bottom of the right side of the split screen. [Edit] will highlight. Press “Enter” button. A small screen will appear in the middle of the split screen having four subjects ( copy, delete, new folder and return ). Highlight “Copy” and press “Enter” button to confirm. Small screen will disappear and [Edit] will highlight again.

Press “Enter” button. Highlight will move to the right side and highlight the "DCIM" of that memory card. Press NAVIGATION “LEFT” button to move highlight to the left side. When it moves to the left side, it will highlight the camera card again. Use NAVIGATION “UP” button to highlight the internal card of the Digital Photo Frame. This is where we want to store our pictures so that they will appear in our Frame.

    12. You will want to create a "Folder" in the Digital Photo Frame's internal memory card to place ( download ) your photo's in, such as " x-mas 2008 ". Later you can create another "Folder" to save other pictures in, such as " New Year 2008 " or " Easter 2009 ", etc. To do this, while the top card is highlighted, press the NAVIGATION "LEFT" button to go to the [Edit] option. The keyboard will disappear. [Edit] option will highlight again and the new folder "x-mas 2008" will appear at the bottom of the folders on the right side of the split screen. Press the NAVIGATION "RIGHT" button and the highlight will move to the top of the right side of the split screen. We must move this new folder over to the left side of the split screen in order to download photos into it. Use the NAVIGATION "DOWN" button to highlight the new folder. Press the "Enter" button. The new folder will move to the left side, highlight and open.

    13. Once the new folder is highlighted, press the NAVIGATION “LEFT” button to highlight the [Edit] option. Press the “Enter” button. A small screen will appear in the middle of the split screen having three subjects ( paste, new folder and return ). Highlight “Paste” and press “Enter” to confirm. You will see a larger screen appear showing that the files (pictures) are being downloaded into the new folder located in the internal memory. Once download is complete, you will see the file or files “saved” listed on the right side of the split screen. “Edit" option at the bottom of the screen will be highlighted. Press NAVIGATION “LEFT” button to move highlight up and to the left side. The new folder should be highlighted. Files (pictures) should now be stored in the Digital Photo Frame.

    14. If you want, you can store another set of 20 or less pictures and create another "New Folder" right now while the camera card is still in the Frame. To do so, redue Step #8 thru Step #13. Once you are finished, go to Step # 15.

    15. Press the “Menu” button. The “Main Menu” will appear on the screen. You should remove the camera memory card at this time from the slot on the left side of the Photo Frame. If you do not remove the camera card at this time, the Photo Frame will review (scan) the pictures on the camera's card and not those in the new folder that you just created. After the card has been removed, use the NAVIGATION “LEFT or RIGHT” button to move to “Photo”. Press the “Enter” button. Photos that you copied to the internal memory's new folder should start to scan across the picture frame.
