taking pictures of jewelry
I need help taking pictures of hand made jewelry. I use lots of swarovski crystals, silver, gemstones, pearls, etc. I can't get good & clear pictures. They are too dark, too light - not the right color, or it doesn't show the sparkle of the crystals. There are so many functions on this camera (Canon PowerShot SD800 IS Digital ELPH) that I get so confused what to use & the maunual isn't much help. The coloring just doesn't seem right even when I'm taking normal pictures of people. I've even tried numerous times to reset it to the factory settings & it won't let me & I'm so frustrated. I need help because this is my business & I need the pictures on my website. I also paint pottery & I need to take pictures of the pottery once they are fired & put them on the website as well
