Unable to capture Movies from my Camcorder on my P...

Unable to capture Movies from my Camcorder on my Packard Bell OneTwo PC. Tried using 1EEE 1394 Connection from the DV Outlet on the Camera to a USB port on the PC but to no avail. I was hoping a User Manual might help. Many Thanks.
