1/3 INCH COLOR DIGITAL CCD CAMERA
WITH ADVANCED FEATURE SET
FEATURES
The ADCA470CAFN and ADCA470CAFP digital
CCD cameras are the premier choice for virtually any
application. A series of new advanced features offer
optimal performance right out of the box.
This camera uses a high-resolution 470 TVL imager
that can capture images in very low light. There is
also a selectable Night-Saver
color/monochrome
mode that automatically enhances images under
extremely low light conditions. When ambient light
levels are restored, the camera automatically adjusts
back to full color viewing. Seven selectable separate
backlight compensation (BLC) zones allow for
custom positioning of the camera based on the area
being observed and specific areas of interest.
The selectable DVR-Saver
mode saves valuable DVR
hard drive space. When using the DVR-Saver mode
on an American Dynamics’ Intellex
®
, video file sizes
are reduced by up to 30 percent.

When using an auto iris lens, the camera will
automatically detect whether it is a DC or video type
lens. Installation is made easy by an embedded
1/4” x 20 mount in both the top and bottom of the
camera.
The camera features internal and phase adjustable
line-lock options for “roll-free” switching, and a fully
isolated power supply that allows multiple cameras
to be connected to a single 24 VAC source. This
isolation also helps eliminate ground loops.
