*UV 1X
Recommended especially for high
mountain areas and where ultra- violet
rays are strong.
Sky light 1X
For distant snow or mountain scenes on
an overcast day and for open shade
photos under a clear sky to reduce ex-
cessive bluish results.
Y1 1.5X
For landscapes and portraits with low
sun. Darkens the blue of the sea and
sky and brings out the whiteness of
the clouds.
CCA4
(Amber)
1.5X
Used with daylight type film for shoot-
ing in cloudy, or rainy weather or in the
shade. Eliminates bluish tinge.
**Y3 2X
For landscapes and still-life. This filter
is similar to the Y1, but the effects are
stronger.

(Amber)
2X
Used with daylight type film for shoot-
ing in cloudy or rainy weather or in the
shade. Used with tungsten type film for
shooting in the morning or evening.
G1 2X
For portraits against the sky. Natural
reproduction of foliage.

ing in sunlight to obtain normal color
tones.

sky/cloud contrast with a very dark

at night or indoors with clear flash bulbs.

control exposure and have no effect
