the UnitedStates and CanonCanada Inc.
in
Canada withrespect to theCanon-brand Card Photo Printer (the "Product")
purchased with thislimitedwarranty, when purchased andused
in
theUnited States
or
Canada. This limited warranty only applies to the Product packaged with this limited warranty. Canon
U.S.A., Inc. and Canon CanadaInc. willbe referredtocollectivelyhereinas "Canon."
TheProduct, when delivered to you
in
newcondition
in
its originalcontainer, is warrantedagainst defects
in
materials andworkmanshipunder normal useand serviceforaperiodof one (1)
yearfrom the date oforiginal purchase. Defectiveparts
or
adefective Product returnedto Canon, or an AuthorizedServiceCenter, andproven to be defective uponinspection,will be repaired
with neworcomparable rebuiltpartsor exchanged for arefurbished Product asdeterminedbyCanon
or
the Authorized Service Center. Warrantyreplacementshallnot extend the original
warranty period. This warranty does notcover any accessories,nor does it coveranyconsumables, suchaspaper orinkcartridges, as to which there shall beno warranty
or
replacement.
This limited warrantyshall onlyapplyiftheProduct isused
in
conjunction withcomp?tible computers, peripheral equipment and software, as to whichitems Canonshall have no responsibility.
Non-Canon brandequipmentand software
that
maybe
distributed
with
the
Productare
sold
"as
is"
and
without
warranty
of
any kind
by
Canon,
including
any impliedwarranty
or
condition
regarding merchantability
or
fitness
for
a particularpurpose,andallsuchwarranties and
conditions
are disclaimed. The
sole
warranty,
if
any,
with
respect
to
such
non-
Canon brand items is given
by
the
manufacturer
or
producer
thereof.
This limitedwarranty covers all defects encountered
in
normal useof the Product and does not apply
in
the followingcases:
(a) Lossof or damage to the Product due toabuse, neglect,mishandling, improperpackaging byyou, alteration, accident, electrical currentfluctuations, improper use, failureto following
operating maintenance
or
environmental conditionsprescribed
in
Canon's user'smanual
or
otherdocumentation, orservicesperformedbysomeone otherthanCanon
or
its Authorized
Service Center. Withoutlimiting the foregoing, waterdamage,sand/corrosiondamage,batteryleakage, dropping the printer, scratches, and abrasions will be presumed to haveresulted
from misuse, abuse
or
failure to operate the Product as set forth
in
the operating instructions.
(b) Use ofpartsor supplies(other than those sold byCanon) thatcausedamagetotheProduct
or
cause abnormally frequentservice calls
or
service problems.
(c) Use of supplies or parts (other thanthosedistributed by Canon).
(d) IftheProducthas had itserialnumber
or
dating defaced, alteredor removed.
(e) IftheProductisusedfor commercial
or
industrial use.
NOIMPLIEDWARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTYOR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITYORFITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,APPLIES TO THE PRODUCT
AFTER THEAPPLICABLE PERIOD
OF
THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY STATED ABOVE, ANDNO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY,GUARANTYORCONDITION, EXCEPTAS

THEORY ONWHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED, AND EVEN IF CANON, ORITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER HASBEEN ADVISED OFTHE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOR
SHALL RECOVERY OFANYKIND AGAINST CANON, OR ITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER, BE GREATER INAMOUNTTHANTHE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT
CAUSING THEALLEGEDDAMAGE. WITHOUT LIMITINGTHEFOREGOING,YOUASSUMEALLRISKAND LIABILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURYTO YOU AND YOUR
