oftheproblem andcorrectitover the telephone. If the problemcannot be correctedoverthetelephone,you will be asked to followthe applicable procedures for MAIL-IN SERVICE. Note
that a dated proof
of
purchase isrequired atthetime of service. This requirement willbesatisfiedby providing acopy of your dated bill
of
sale.

MAIL-IN SERVICE
MAIL-IN SERVICE isaprogram underwhich your Product isrepairedby a CanonU.S.A.
or
a CanonCanada AuthorizedService Center.
You
willbegiven the name,address and phone
number of an Authorized Service Center,by contacting the CanonU.S.A. CustomerCare Center at 1-800-828-4040 orCanon CanadaCustomerInformationCentre at 1-800-0K-CANON (1-
800-652-2666). Itis yourresponsibilitytoproperly package and send the defective Product together with a copyof yourdated proofofpurchase, a complete explanation of the problem anda
returnaddress to the Authorized Service Center atyourexpense. Do not include anyotheritems with the defective Product. ThedefectiveProduct covered by thislimitedwarranty will be
repairedand returned to you withoutchargeby theAuthorizedServiceCenter. Any Product received by theAuthorized Service Centerthat is notcovered bythe limited warranty will be
returnedunrepaired,
or,
atthediscretionofthe Authorized Service Center, you may receive a written estimate of repair atsuch costastheAuthorized Service Centermayestablishfromtime
totime.
