Shooting in Manual Focus Mode
The focus can be manually set.
* Not available in or mode.
To Cancel the Manual Focus:
Press the button and use the or button to select
(Normal).

The
and the MF indicator are
displayed.
When the menu’s [MF-Point
Zoom] is set to [On], the portion of
the image in the AF frame will appear
magnified*.
* The image will not appear magnified in mode, when the digital
zoom or digital tele-converter is activated or when a TV is used as the
display.
* Can also be set so that the image displayed is not magnified (p. 47).
Depending on the shooting mode, pressing the button will
switch between the setting items as follows:
