Built-in Rechargeable Battery
To store the date/time in memory, a rechargeable
battery is integrated in the camera. As long as the
camera is connected to an AC outlet using the AC
power adapter, or the batteries installed in the
camera continue to supply power to the camera, the
built-in battery is always charged. However, if the
camera is not used for approx. 3 months, the built-
in battery will become discharged and the date/time
stored in memory will be lost. When this occurs,
connect the camera to an AC outlet using the AC
power adapter for over 24 hours to charge the built-
in rechargeable battery. Before using the camera
again, set the date/time.
Note that it is possible to use the camera without
setting the date/time.
