Slow shutter speeds are used to capture the expanding burst
of light from a firework.
• Camera focuses at infinity. The focus indicator (A6)
always glows green when the shutter-release button is
pressed halfway. Note, however, that objects in the
foreground may not always be in focus.
• AF-assist illuminator (A131) does not light.

Provides clear images of text or drawings on a white board or

• Camera focuses on the subject at the center of the frame.
• Use macro mode (A 33) to focus at short ranges.

features or details into shadow. The flash fires automatically to
“fill in” (illuminate) shadows.
