Taking Better Pictures
Taking Close-up Pictures
(Macro Mode)
Use the macro function to shoot subjects at very close distances.When
using the macro function, maintain a distance of about 20 and 80cm (8
and 31). Pictures taken outside this range are likely to be out of focus
or poorly exposed.
Minimum distance: approximately 20cm (8)
Telephoto: If you wish to further enlarge the image, push the zoom
lever toward T (telephoto).
Monitor is filled by a 8cm (3) × 6cm (2) subject.
Wide-angle:If you wish to make the image smaller, push the zoom lever
toward W (wide).
Monitor is filled by a 17cm (6) × 22cm (8) subject.
1 Open the lens barrier.
The camera turns on in
shooting mode.
2 Press the monitor button ( ).
The monitor will illuminate.
3 Press ̅ ( ) on the arrow
pad.
4 Press ̅ on the arrow pad
repeatedly until the macro
mark is displayed on the
monitor.
5 Confirm the position of the
subject with the monitor and
shoot.
