Using [SETUP] menu (Continued)

• When the demo screen is displayed, press [MENU/SET]
to switch the Optical Image Stabilizer between on and
off.
• Cannot be displayed in Playback Mode.
• To stop Press [DISPLAY] button.
• Recording and zoom cannot be performed during demo.
[AUTO DEMO]: View introductory Slide Show
[OFF]/[ON]
• To close Press [MENU/SET]
• If the camera is left switched on while connected to the
AC adaptor (optional) and with no card inserted, the
demo will automatically begin whenever no operations
are performed for approx. 2 minutes.
• [AUTO DEMO] cannot be displayed on external devices
such as TVs.

Sequence of Recording
Open the lens cover
The power is turned on.
Select the desired Recording
Mode and record
To use settings automatically selected by
the camera
Press the button.
To select the Recording Mode manually
Press the [MODE] button.
Press ▲▼ to select the Recording Mode,
and then press [MENU/SET].
Play back the pictures you took
Press the Playback button.
Press ◄► to select a picture.
To return to the Recording Mode
Press the Playback button again.
• The camera returns to the previous
Recording Mode.
Close the lens cover
The power is turned off.
• The power can also be turned off by
pressing the Power button.
