AUDIO CHANNEL SELECT
These switches select the sound
source that will be recorded to audio
channel 1 or audio channel 2.
Choose between the built-in mic
(INT) or whatever mic or other
sound source you have plugged into
INPUT 1 or 2.
MENU SELECT/VCR PLAYBACK
Use this little joystick to navigate the menu
selections. Push the joystick in to select an
item. This same joystick also controls the tape
PLAYBACK in vcr mode. Push it in to pause
tape. (*The vcr/camera mode switch is located
on the back of the camera.)
MENU
Push this button to
bring up or exit out of
the MENU mode.
ZEBRA STRIPES
This button turns the ZEBRA
STRIPES on and off to help you
judge exposure. Choose between
ZEBRA 1 and ZEBRA 2.
EXTERNAL MIC POWER
These switches power microphones
plugged into INPUT 1 or 2 using the
cameras battery power. *If you plug
in a mic and you get really low
signals or no sound at all, this button
is a likely culprit.
SHUTTER SPEED
Use this button to change the
SHUTTER SPEED.
MODE CHECK
This button brings up on display
all of the vital camera , etc.
SHUTTER SPEED SELECT
After you press the SHUTTER
SPEED button, use this button to
choose a shutter speed. *Make sure
your shutter speed is set to 1/24 if
you wish to shoot in the 24P “film
look” mode.
