Battery precautions
• Only use AA alkaline, NiMH, NiCad, or lithium batteries with this camera.
• Never mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (for example, Alkaline
and Lithium), or batteries from different manufacturers.
• Do not expose batteries to direct heat or dispose of them by burning. Dispose of
batteries according to local laws and regulations.
• Remove batteries from the camera if you are not going to use the camera for extended
periods of time.
• Remove dead batteries from the camera. Dead batteries are susceptible to leakage,
which can cause significant damage to your camera.
Note: Camera damage caused by misuse of batteries is not covered under the One
Year Limited Warranty.
