Notes on the License
This product comes with software that are used based on licensing agreements with the owners
of that software. Based on requests by the owners of copyright of these software applications,
we have an obligation to inform you of the following. Please read the following sections.
Licenses (in English) are recorded in the internal memory of your product. Establish a Mass
Storage connection between the product and a computer to read licenses in the “PMHOME” -
“LICENSE” folder.
THIS PRODUCT IS LICENSED UNDER THE AVC PATENT PORTFOLIO LICENSE FOR THE
PERSONAL USE OF A CONSUMER OR OTHER USES IN WHICH IT DOES NOT RECEIVE
REMUNERATION TO
(i) ENCODE VIDEO IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE AVC STANDARD (“AVC VIDEO”)
AND/OR
(ii) DECODE AVC VIDEO THAT WAS ENCODED BY A CONSUMER ENGAGED IN A
PERSONAL ACTIVITY AND/OR WAS OBTAINED FROM A VIDEO PROVIDER LICENSED TO
PROVIDE AVC VIDEO.
NO LICENSE IS GRANTED OR SHALL BE IMPLIED FOR ANY OTHER USE. ADDITIONAL

The software that is eligible for the following GNU General Public License (hereinafter referred
to as “GPL”) or GNU Lesser General Public License (hereinafter referred to as “LGPL”) are
