Connecting to a TV for Playback
IMPORTANT
When removing the camera from the cradle, always ensure that the camera is
turned off first.

You can shoot with the camera still set in the cradle by switching the camera to
recording mode.
The image prior to shooting may appear slightly blurred when compared with the
playback image (due to the lower resolution).
The camera cannot output images in PAL-format to a video display unit (such as
a TV) in recording mode.
The cradle is not included with the GSC-R30.
Check that the camera is turned off. When connecting the camera to a TV using the
cradle, connect the AC adapter to the cradle before setting the camera in the cradle
( p.30).
When connecting the camera directly to the TV, connect the AC adapter to the
camera.

Plug the bundled AV cable into the A/V OUT terminal on
the cradle or camera.

Plug the other end of the AV cable into the Audio and
video input terminals on the TV.

Turn on the camera and the TV.

Select the TV input.
The camera image appears on the TV.

Use the jog dial or press the / button on the
remote control to select the image to be played back.
To play a video, move the OK button to or press the button on the remote
control.
