Supported PCs
Connecting the camera to a PC enables you to transfer your photographed images to the
PC, edit the images, send them to your family and friends via the Internet, or burn them
onto a DVD.
System Requirements for Connected PCs
PCs connected to the camera must conform to the system requirements shown below.
Check your system before connecting the camera.
Software system requirements
*1: In each case, only PCs with pre-installed operating systems are supported. Operation
is not guaranteed on upgraded PCs. Macintosh computers are not supported.
Note also that operation is not guaranteed on all PCs.
*2: Data cannot be written from a PC to the camera when a USB 1.1 connection is used.
*3: Video CDs and SVCDs cannot be created.
*4: If Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later is not installed, installation of the bundled
software will not be completed. Before installing the bundled software, install
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later.
