On a Windows computer:
Make sure that:
The software for viewing the images has already been installed on
your PC (to replay the moving images, you need to install QuickTime
4.1 or later), and The memory card has already been inserted into the
camera.
<Operation>
1 Insert the memory card into the camera.
2 Connect the camera to AC adaptor, then turn the power on.
3 Connect the camera to the PC using the exclusive USB cable ([PC
MODE] appears on the LCD monitor).
4 [Removable Disk] icon appears in [My Computer] window.
Double-click the icon to open the [Removable Disk] window.
5 Open [XXXTOSHI] or [TRIMMING] folder in DCIM, then select and
double-click the image file you want to view.
On a Macintosh computer:
Make sure that:

3 onnect the camera to the PC using the exclusive USB cable ([PC

4 [Untitled folder] icon appears on the [Desktop]. Double-click the
icon to open it.
5 pen [XXXTOSHI] or [TRIMMING] folder in DCIM, then select and
double-click the image file you want to view.
Viewing the Images on your PC
* Install the USB driver correctly. See pages 92 and 93 "Installing the
USB Driver" for the instructions how to install the USB driver.
* The card access LED flashes while connecting to the PC and viewing
or copying the image. Do not disconnect the USB cable nor turn off
the power of the PC while the light flashes.
<How to disconnect the USB cable>
To disconnect the USB cable from the PC, follow the instructions
below:
For Windows Me users:
1 Double-click the Unplug or Eject Hardware icon on the task bar
at the lower right corner of the desktop.
2 Select [USB Disk], then click [Stop].
3 Select [USB Disk], then click [OK].
4 Click [OK] when a message appears
5 Disconnect the USB cable from the PC and the camera.
For Windows 2000/XP users:
1 Double-click the Unplug or Eject Hardware icon on the task bar
at the lower right corner of the desktop.
2 Select [Digital Camera USB Device 1], then click [Stop].
3 Select [Digital Camera USB Device 1], then click [OK].
4 When the message Removing Safely appears, click [OK].
5 Disconnect the USB cable from the PC and the camera.
For Windows 98 users:
Turn off the power of the camera, then disconnect the USB cable.
On a Macintosh computer:
Click and drag the [Untitled folder] folder to the garbage can. When a
message Removing safely appears, disconnect the USB cable from
the computer.
