I TOOK THE PRINTER APART AND I GOT THIS PIECE THAT I CAN NOT REMEMMBER WERE IT GOES :its a little black arm thats about 1 1/2 " long it looks like a lazy L with alittle shaft on the other side with alittle spring I THINK IT GOES SOME WHERE BY LEFT SIDE IF LOKING AT IT FROM BEHIND NEAR THE GEARS AND THEY BACK WHERE THE PAPER GOES

I am trying to play back my tapes (in VCR mode) but I just get a fuzzy screen. There is a little symbol like a parralelogram? flashing with a line through it. There seems to also be a small arrow pointing to the right directly above the shape. Please help! I wanted to transfer these tapes to DVD this weekend! Phooey!

I have just aquired this camcorder but have no instruction manual. Where as a lot of it is common sense and trial/error I would appreciate it in black and white. If anyone can point me in the right direction to obtain a manual I would be very grateful.
