i can not get my pictures or recording to download from my camcorder to a disk or to my computer. so i can put them on a dvd. i have tried about everything i can think of. please help.i even bought the direct dvd-video burner. and it does not even let me download. so i don't know if i am doing something wrong or what.

i have and old jvc GR HF 700, it will not power up even after a fully charged battery, i have some recordings i`d like to put onto some dvd disc, if anyone can help i`d really appricate it,

My camcorder is 2 yrs old. I lost the manual/disc. I need to find out asap how to download to movies to my iMovie (mac).
In fact: reviewing other info would be equally helpful!
I am leaving on an unexpected trip to Nepal (business with children) and really, really need help with this!
