My 12-year-old stepson has a Dell PC with Vista home premium with 2 video editing programs--Windows Moviemaker and Magix. We've tried to connect the ZR30 to his computer using a firewire adapter thing (he doesn't have a firewire port) which didn't work, so i tried downloading his movie from camcorder to my MacBook Pro & burning it to DVD. But neither of his videoediting programs seems to recognize the file type or the format. Is there a software program that I can download/purchase that will enable him to edit ZR30 movies on his PC??? I've spent hours on this & can't disappoint him!!!! Thanks to anyone who can help!!
