Question About Canon Camcorder MV 1
Connection from Camera to Mac / PC...

I have just found an old MV1 Digital Video Camcorder. Can the camera be connected to a pc or mac instead of a video recorder (which I don't have) ??

5 Just saw your question. Yes, I have a Canon MV1 connected to an iMac, could be to any fairly recent Mac. You'll need a Firewire cable, 400 for older Macs, 800 for recent. With iMovie you can import directly from the MV1, edit, send to iDVD to burn a DVD, etc. Works fine.
