Date Stamp...

I’m trying to determine how to make the time and date stamp appear on my pictures with the Canon Power shot A70 camera. I can set the date and time, but don’t know how to make it visible on the picture I take, can anyone help? Thanks, Parl Guthrie Seattle, WA.
