NO VIEW...

ON LOOKING THROUGH THE VIEW FINDER I GET NO IMAGE OF WHAT I AM LOOKING AT, I UNDERSTAND IT COULD BE THE CDC WHICH IS AT THE FRONT OF THE UNIT, IS THIS REPLACEABLE?
