The ManualsOnline team has found the manual for this product! We hope it helps solve your problem. Get the Manual Here
0 Obtain an AV lead via your local electronics/computer store.Must be a 3.5mm stereo plug on one end and twin RCA plugs on the other.Open AV cover(marked AV on camcorder just left of the OFF-ON-MODE switch)(Shape cover is like that of human left ear or hearing aid device)Connect 3.5mm plug here.Connect other end(RCA plugs to TVs' AV input. In Record Mode(Camcorder)the TV displays what ever the camcorder is pointing at.In Playback Mode the TV displays whatever was recorded.FYI, the Camcorder in Record Mode and connected to your TV can double as a security camera. Just position the camera and have it pointed at a non-secure area that you want to monitor.Whatever goes on that the camera "sees" you can also see on your TV.For long monitoring periods leave AC charger connected to mains outlet. Hope this helps. Canon user more by trial and error than professional skill.
