5 English section of the European Instruction Manual for the Canon Speedlite 580EX II (French & Spanish sections omitted). 62 pages scanned 2 (A6 facing) pages at a time in greyscale at 200DPI & saved as 31 A5 medium-quality JPG files before finally being assembled in Microsoft Word & saved as a 7MB PDF file. I found this manual. 580EXII.pdf

0 Hi, I'm new to this site/forum, so please excuse any crass suggestions I may make while I get used to it! I have hardcopies of the manuals for a Canon Speedlite 580EX II, the English section of which is only 60 pages long (those poxy little A6 pages Canon use for their manuals). I guess I could scan this 2 (facing) pages at a time whilst doing other stuff over the next few days & post it as a PDF if people want the information badly enough. The quality won't be brilliant since the gutter is pretty small & I'm not prepared to trash my manual by splitting it into seperate pages, so there will be a slight foreshortening of the image around the spine where the pairs of pages meet because the book won't quite go flat. Let me know what you think. DK

0 Sorry for the delay folks, And for the facing-page format which means it is not easy to print as a booklet. It's pretty legible though & contains all the information, so better than nothing I hope! If anyone gets anything better plese post it & let me know. Cheers, DK.
