Question About Canon Digital Camera S1 IS
I do not......

...have manual for camera. Want to know auto adjust for close-up. When I lightly push button to take picture it adjusts upon releaseing it then it goes out of focus

0 Push button down to the point where the box shows up on the screen and adjust until green box and leave the same pressure on the button until ready for taking the picture. When ready to take picture push the button the rest of the way DOWN and thats when the shutter will release. You can also use macro for better close-ups and even use macro for telephoto shots as long as you keep the bar from changing colors, see manual.
