Question About Canon Digital Camera A430
removing protected photos...

I have protected about 20 pictures within my memory card. After transferring the pictures to a couple of different files on my laptop and on disks, I would like to remove these protected photos but I am unsuccessful. Is there anyway to removed a protected photo?
