Question About Canon Film Camera T 70
camera wont turn on...

I had the battery door in my canon T70 changed. When my hands recieved the camera back from the gentelman who repaired the battry door... my camera would not turn on. he told me it would cost me $150.00 to diagnose it. Is it possible that the new battery door could have had too much energy and blew out my camera?
