Question About Canon Photo Printer pixma ip6600d
print quailty poor...

i have a pixma ip6600d printer and a canon eos40d. when i print pictures the faces are bright red. the eye are very dark and heavy shadows. the blue are very dark. the prints are very bright in color but with lots of dark shadows, could it be the printer or the way they are coming tho the computer. need help.
