5 I purchased a model # CEF15NC Duracell charger and when we tried to put some older batteries on it, the red light blinked. We, also, did not receive a users manual. I called 1-800-551-2355 and discussed the issue. They say it is because there is something wrong w/ the batteries if it is blinking, possibly the internal temperature. It came w/ 4 batteries and I purchased an extra 4 batteries and they charge just fine. It only seems to have problems w/ the older ones.

0 I have the same problem with the blinking lights, I was told when I purchased this product, that I could use any type of battery. Obviously that was not correct.
