5 If the indicator light flashes red, try the following suggestions. • Confirm battery polarity (+/- contacts) are correctly oriented in charger bay. • Check the battery position in the bay, to insure battery contacts are touching charger contacts. • Remove the batteries and gently wipe the battery and charger contacts with a clean dry cloth. • The charger may be detecting a defective battery, which will prevent charging.
