0 (I should clarify - since this doesn't seem to be necessarily attached to the original query. Any time I place a memory card in the camera I get an unworkable "53" screen which I assume is an error indicator. I cannot even turn the camera off from that screen, I have to remove batteries to turn it off. Also with the memory card in the camera does not make the normal beeping sound when powering on. Without a memory card it works fine ( we just can only take about 50 pictures, which flies by fast witha trigger happy toddler). I have tried 5 different memory cards, tried reformatting them, they all have the same problem.
