My fujifilm fine pix 2800 turns on, but won't take...

My fujifilm fine pix 2800 turns on, but won't take a picture. It's been working fine and is about 8+ years old. The batteries are good, and it turns on and off, but I can';t use menu or take a picture or even move back on the camera to view previous shots.
