I recently recieved a GE W1000 digital camera. Is it possible to get a rechargeable battery pack for this product?

0 Just get any brand rechargeable battery and use those. You can also use any AA batteries, but hey will not last as long.

0 User Manual: http://www.general-imaging.com/us/support/manual/2008AEG/2008-AEWM-En.pdf The manual states that the W1000 uses 2x AA alkaline batteries and does not include a charger. I'm wondering whether NiCd and NiMH batteries, which have a lower cell voltage than alkalines, will appear flat to the camera.
