What does the red "M" on the screen stand for? U...

What does the red "M" on the screen stand for? Usually there is an "R" which I assume means record. The M comes on occasionally and then goes back to an "R". Awaiting your reply. THanks.

0 M comes on when it sees motion after the set time for notion record it goes back after the alarm state
