Question About Insignia Camcorder NS-DCC5HB09
Insignia Camcorder NS-DCC5HB09...

When playing Insignia avi format files in iMovieHD I only get audio and no video. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

1 It sounds like you need to install a missing video codec.

1 i did that. I installed QT's Divx and xvid but still only get audio and no video in QT or iMovieHD. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resources/components.html?os=OSX&ctype=696d6463&csubtype=48323634

1 OK. I solved the problem. I used Perian to play AVIs in Quicktime and was also able to see it in iMovie. http://perian.org/
