organizing pictures...

I'm trying to enter pictures on my thumb drive in a specific order from a file off my computer, however they continuously shuffle & go in whatever order they feel

0 I was able to accomplish this by erasing all the photos in the SD card, and then using a script to copy the photos, one at a time, into the SD card in the desired order

0 You didn't mention your OS, but in Windows XP you can do this using a one-line FOR-IN-DO command, assuming your ordered list of images is contained within a file. Contact me at ... mentiscompos@yahoo.com.au ... and I'll help you.
