cassette door wont open to load

0 its me ross, i plugged it in & it worked duh. anyhow it all works except for the lcd screen in the viewfinder, any ideas?

0 Hi, I just bought one of these camcorders and it has some battery saving options. I have GR-AXM700u I'm assuming you have an lcd screen, anyway go through the menu and check for this option. Hook up to TV if you can't see menu on camera itself. I'm hoping this is the same as mine. Let me know if this helps and i will look in manual for additional help for you.
