0 I went to jvc website and found the gr-d850u at top page and then clicked on the features...at bottom left page was a link to the owners manual which I was then abl to print off. All the best recording to you all. Patrick

0 I am sorry I forgot to give the website.it can be found @ http://www.jvc.com/ and just right click on the top of the page under mini dv camcorders. manual at bottom left of page. Patrick
