Question About JVC Camcorder None
recording...

i bought this model at a yard sale and when i try to record its just a black screen does this thing need a chip or something to work please let me know

0 I have this same model. My camcorder does not take a chip or SD card. The only time my screen is black when I'm recording is when the lens cap is on. I'm not sure if this model takes a SD card, but if it did; you wouldn't need it to work. That is only used to record still images.

0 when i try to record it tells me my lens cap is on when its really off can anyone help me

0 There is a recall on this model for that. Just go to the JVC website and they should fix it for free.
