Question About JVC Camcorder None
removing lens...

We have an old DY-700U JVC Digital S Camcorder DC12v 36w, 4:2:2, with a Canon lens CCD 13x Macro TV Zoom Lens YH 3x7.5 7.5-97.5 mm The problem is it is not on correctly,, it wiggles and is loose and leaks some light, but will not release the lens, is it possible it was skewed when put on? Is there a release lock? We have no manual.

0 Did you try turning the release tab counter clockwise to release the lock on the lens? Whe the tab is in the locked position, it will be in the lower right hand side of the lens. When releaseing it counter clockwise, it should be at around 12 o'clock. Hope this helps. Other than that, the lens should slide off like butter.
