Question About Kodak Digital Camera C613
Kodak C613 Digital Camera does not work--only 2 years old...

How long are these cameras expected to last? It was not dropped and the appearance of the camera looks fine. I've tried new rechargeable batteries and alkaline batteries. Obviously not the batteries. Any one else have this kind of camera?

0 2.5 years old. Sometimes can't get it to turn on, sometimes when it does, the screen goes super dim and locks up. Can remove batteries, and dim image lasts about 45 seconds. Then put same batteries back in and it will work for a while. Like other post, was handled gently. Started happening at about 3000 pictures. Anyone know of a weak solder joint? I am at firmware 1.4, which is supposed to correct for high temperature issues. Could there still be a temperature problem?
