While I was getting ready to replace the battery, I dropped it on the kitchen counter! The "vr" cover is sprung as well as the battery cover is out of alignment. After trying to open the battery cover, it does open after several trys for replacement. The camera still works perfectly and I can still transfer my pictures. Is it possible to find parts or a repair person here in the Jacksonville Florida area?
