lens error...

i keep getting a red lettered 'lens error!' on my nikon coolpix L14. how do i fix this?

0 May be tough. The lens that slides in and out is either damaged or dirty. Try compressed air first. "Gently" shaking or tap the camera to try to dislodge it. If there's any scratch at all on it, you're probably not going to get the warranty to kick in. Nikon will fix it for more than the cost of the camera new. Good luck.
