Question About Nikon Digital Camera 5000
Zoom with my camera...

I just bought a nikon 5000DSL and when I am taking a picture and zoom in on the subject the camera zooms in , but when I look at the picture in the view finder after I have taken the picture , it's not zoomed in at all. can someone help me with this ?
