Question About Olympus Digital Camera C-920

I have an Olympus C-920 Zoom Camera that has worked ok for years but now when I turn it on I get the 'set' screen requesting me to format the card. When I select the format icon & press ok it doesn't do anything. The card works fine in my i-rocks card reader. Any ideas?
