Olympus Stylus 7010 is stuck and won't turn back on...

My camera is stuck zoomed all the way and will not turn back on. I will allow me to turn it back on when it's in the play mode, but when switched to take pictures it just turns back off. How do I get it to turn back on and fix the zoom?
